Remote Bookkeeper (QuickBooks Expert)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Remote Bookkeeper with advanced QuickBooks expertise to manage day-to-day financial transactions and support accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, highly organized, and familiar with nonprofit or healthcare bookkeeping (preferred but not required). You'll work independently while maintaining strong communication with the internal finance team.

• 3+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a remote capacity
• Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks Online (certification preferred)
• Solid understanding of GAAP and bookkeeping best practices
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in Excel and cloud-based accounting tools (e.g., Gusto, Bill.com, Expensify)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Experience with nonprofit or healthcare financial operations is a plus
• QuickBooks ProAdvisor Certification (preferred)
• Familiarity with donor management software (e.g., Bloomerang, DonorPerfect)
• Experience working with CPA firms or preparing 990 forms
